The National Scout Council is pleased to announce the election of Shawn Darmanin as Chief Scout.
This is effective as from the 2nd of March for an interim period until the current process of nominations and election of new National Scout Council members is concluded and the position is considered by the newly formed Council.
Shawn steps into this role with a strong passion for leadership and hands-on experience in scouting. As an engineer with degrees in electrical and electronic engineering, including a Master of Science in Engineering from the University of Malta, he brings both strategic thinking and teamwork to the table. His enthusiasm for collaboration and commitment to meaningful goals make him a great fit for this role.
We are confident that Shawn will be an inspiring and effective leader in this interim period, and we look forward to continuing working with him to continue empowering young people to reach their full potential!
