For adults in Scouting there is a clear opportunity to work with the young people in their community between the ages of 5 and 26. This opportunity allows Adults to help develop the future of our youth members in a FUN and EXCITING way.

The Adults are responsible for helping to plan and deliver programs that support young people in reaching their full potential.  Our youth gain valuable skills in an environment of “responsible risk taking”; there is a great sense of personal satisfaction seeing them take on a new challenge and build their confidence.

The Scout Association of Malta operates a voluntary, non-political, non-formal educational movement for young people, open to all without distinction or origin, race or creed.  Our Adults come from all walks of life – parents, former scouts, individuals with no previous scouting experience whatsoever.

One of Scouting’s fundamental values is to encourage the physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual development of young people so that they grow up to be responsible citizens, for a better society.

Why don’t you join in on one of the largest youth organisations in Malta and also in the World, by becoming part of the Adult Support?  This unique opportunity will provide you with the training to guide a team of young people through a range of challenging and exciting activities.

Do you have a passion for the outdoors? Do you see a healthy and active lifestyle as essential to a happy life? Well why not instil that love for the outdoors and that healthy lifestyle in the young people you work with? Want to develop a community centred spirit in our local youth? That’s one of Scouting’s main goals!

Interested in joining as part of the Adult support? Giving back to the community as a volunteer in a fun and exciting way?
