Virtual Scout Promise

Scouting never stops!

On this particular Sunday and in normal circumstances, thousands of members would have marched around the streets of Valletta, participating in what we call the Annual Parade! However, this time around, we’ve come up with the first-ever national virtual event to showcase that Scouting is still active worldwide.

40 leaders from our 40 different Scout Groups were joined together via a video-call, which was streamed live on our Facebook Page, exactly at 11 am. During this call, we renewed virtually our Scout Promise and encouraged every member to do the same from home.

Hundreds of Scouts are now participating and flooding Facebook and Instagram with the #VirtualScoutPromise.

Sharing our initiative would help us showcase that Scouting never stops and in fact, all groups are still very active with online meetings, voluntarily helping out in the community, undertaking several tasks at home, badge working and more.
